2.Door grab unloader.
The special machinery derived from the portal crane, also known as the belt-to-door crane, is mostly used for seaport bulk cargo unloading operations. The structure is similar to that of a portal crane, but a funnel for carrying bulk cargo and a belt conveyor system are mounted on the door seat, and the spreader is a grab bucket. After the grab grabs the bulk cargo from the cabin, it lifts and changes the amplitude, discharges the bulk cargo in the funnel on the entry seat, and conveys it to the yard by the belt conveyor system. The hopper on the door seat can be moved to minimize the luffing stroke. As a result, the productivity is higher than that of general portal cranes, and the structural strength of the boom system is also high. The production capacity of the Chinese-built door grab unloader is approximately 800 tons per hour and is suitable for the bulk unloading of small and medium-sized ports.
3.Bridge grab ship unloader.
Bulk cargo unloading machinery with high productivity (Figure 2). It differs from the door grab unloader in that its horizontal movement grab is achieved by the grab car traveling on the crane bridge track, not relying on the tilt of the boom to achieve a higher horizontal movement speed And productivity. The current productivity of this unloader can be as high as about 2,500 tons per hour.
